Steam and hot water pipelines of I-IV classes according to PB 10-573-03 and STO CKTI ("I.I. Polzunov Scientific and Development Association on Research and Design of Power Equipment") 10-003-2007 and elements of pipelines for nuclear power stations according to PNAE (Rules and Norms for Nuclear Power Engineering) G -7-008-89, OST 108.030.123-85, OST 10.030.124-85 are delivered in the form of shaped parts, assembly units and the integrated assembly units (blocks) of pipelines. The block consists of two and more shaped elements or direct sections of the pipes connected among them by welding according to the design documentation (the block drawing).
Types of delivered elements of pipelines:
Weldless pipes, forged pieces, round billets and bar sections are used in the capacity of part blanks for production. Ordinary steel grades are used for pipelines transporting a steam with temperature up to 545 ⁰С under pressure 255 kg/sm2, and high-temperature materials such as Р-91, Р-92 (the USA, Germany), 10Kh9MFB (Russia) are used for pipelines with higher parameters of operation environment (temperature up to 650 ⁰С, pressure of 350 kg/sm2). Wall thickness of initial materials reach 80 mm, outside diameters of pipelines reach 1000 mm, design velocities of operation environment inside the pipeline are within 40-60 m/s. All used materials should match to "Rules for the Construction and Safe Operation of Steam and Hot Water Pipelines".
Bent branches with Dу 10-200 mm and R≥3,0D are produced by cold bending with rolling-up onto sectors. Sharply-bent branches with Dу 50-500 mm and wall thickness up to 75 mm and bending radius R≥1,4D and branches with Dу 200-1000 mm and wall thickness up to 100 mm are produced by bending with induction heating. Operation modes of bending processes on all squeezers are accompanied by an automatic monitoring, data of modes are saved.
Welded pipe reducers with Dу 400-2440 mm and cylindrical shells with wall thickness up to 20 mm are produced from sheet bars by cold bending on sheet benders with the subsequent welding up of a junction.
Plasma and oxygen cutting machines with CNC, and also mechanical techniques of metal severing with the subsequent machining of edges are used for cutting-out of tubular billets and sheet bars. Machining of external and internal surfaces and edges of items for welding is carried out on turning, milling, horizontal-boring and specialized edge-milling machines.
High-heat treatment of parts is made in bogie kilns: gaseous with volume 56 m3 and electric with volume 10 м3, and also in installations for local high-heat treatment which are equipped by instruments for automatic process control.
Shaped elements, assembly units and blocks of pipelines are delivered according to effective standards and standard drawings of our design department to a user on an assembly site of the power-generating unit being under construction or redesigned, unitized and assembled in the pipeline according to the design. The pipeline is put into operation after its assemblage and control.
